01Mind is a software and intelligence system manufacturer. Based in Melbourne, the company's goal is to build safe, human aligned, software and intelligence systems that serve humanity.

What we believe

We believe in collaboration as the path forward.

Four things govern everything we build and everything we say about it: honesty, transparency, responsibility, fairness.

These are not aspirations.

Honesty means we do not claim what we have not verified. Transparency means we say what a product does and, just as plainly, what it does not. Responsibility means we wear the consequences of what we build. Fairness means the person on the other side of the transaction is not there to be extracted from.

01Mind chooses certainty over speed. Something concluded early and wrongly costs more than something concluded slowly and correctly. That shapes what we build and how it behaves once built.

What we won't do

We do not build things designed to harm, or made with malice. Nothing we make exists to destroy, damage, or endanger anyone.
We do not break the law. Not as a compliance posture — as a starting condition.
We collect only what a product genuinely needs to do its job, and never more. Our defensive and analytical products never look inside what they protect or process — what we never hold, we can never expose, lose, or be compelled to hand over.
We do not price by trickery. One price. No introductory rate that doubles on renewal.
We do not build to displace. Our products work alongside what you already have rather than demanding you tear it out, and we never require exclusivity to function.

What we align to

We publish what we learn, openly, including where it is useful to people we compete with. We contribute back to the public standards and shared bodies of knowledge our products depend on, rather than only drawing from them. We build on open standards instead of inventing private ones to lock people in.
